Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is the purpose of this website?
Our goal it expose the behavior of Doug Jones, Hockey Director, to protect families from further abuse and to inform the inline hockey community and families on O’ahu.
3. I’ve heard something different from what the families on the website are saying.
We want to emphasize that we are requiring that each testimonial be based on first-hand knowledge, and not hearsay or speculation.
2. Is this just an effort to discredit one hockey program and benefit another?
No. The actions of Doug Jones should be called out no matter what program he is part of.
The families contributing to this website would love to see multiple, healthy inline hockey programs on the island, which would encourage competition and make everyone better. We understand that life does not have to be a zero sum game where one party has to lose for the other to gain.
4. How can we support you?
First, thank you for your trust in our stories. Our efforts are purely to spread the truth and not to benefit us or any program.
Encourage change to any entity or coach that continues to enable Doug Jones. If you know kids are being excluded from an event due to no fault of their own, you can refuse to patronize that event. Like all parts of life, pay attention and call out when you see wrong.
